Over the past few decades, Cambodia’s education sector has made significant strides, driven by reforms led by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports (MoEYS). These reforms aim to improve accessibility, teaching quality, and learning outcomes. However, systemic challenges persist including inequitable access to education, limited infrastructure, under-resourced institutions, and insufficient professional development for educators (Cambodian Education Forum, 2023).

The world is undergoing a significant demographic transition, with a rapidly increasing share of the global population entering older age. Cambodia is no exception to this trend.

In Cambodia, ensuring a high quality of life for vulnerable populations such as the elderly and children remains a pressing challenge. Many families rely on traditional caregiving at home due to cultural preferences, limited access to trusted medical facilities, or inefficiencies in current healthcare infrastructure.
